I think I'll put up the wallpaper you left as a backsplash , Steph, and treat it with the same brown glaze, but maybe do two coats so it'll be a little darker than the cabinets. Then, I'll varnish it so it will clean easy.
Wall color? Taupe.
Cabinet hardware? Glass knobs (okay, so they're actually acrylic, but it'll look like glass).
It's gonna be gorgeous!

That is so pretty! I really like the look. The little tour through that ladies house online made me think of my Farm house up in Felt, Idaho. So vintage, light and airy, and lots of fun details. The white and creams are so refreshing!
