Flowers way over Chocolate.

I had a great epiphiny when I was at the grociery store 3 weeks ago, I have this bad habit of buying enough candy to get us threw the week. I imagine I would buy 20.00 dollars worth at least. Upon reflecting on this habit, I realized that if I changed my candy budget into a flower budget, that my world could change. The flowers cost less than the candy, and last a lot longer.
Growing up, I imagined that if your name was not Martha Stewart, that you didn't have a right to buy flowers. They die, or are dying when you buy them, and it would be a waste of money.
I've come to realize that I would rather have flowers on my table each week to gladden my heart, instead of a cupboard full of candy. Week three, and looking forward to shopping on Saturday each week.

Thick Ivy.

This is a picture of the crazy sexy ivy growing on the chain link fence. I love it so much, but doubt you could find a hearty ivy that would go this crazy thick in Idaho. I'll have to do some research.
